Vacancy: 3D Designer (Canvas Products)
Do you enjoy working at the computer and find it a challenge to create the perfect balance between form and function with your 3D designs? Do you want to use your technical skills to design the most innovative canvas products?
As a 3D designer at Zeilmakerij De Vries Maritiem, you get the chance to create beautiful designs for products such as tube covers, winter tents and steering covers.
Your designs are then used to digitally cut canvas panels. Together with the sewers and seamstresses you work on a final product you can be really proud of!
What will you do?
- Creating 3D designs on the computer with Rhino 3D
- Preparing canvas parts
- Working with the team to deliver high quality products.
Are you...?
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Solution-oriented and flexible
- Do you have an affinity for water sports? That's a plus!
- Can work well in a team and have an eye for detail
- Experience with drawing programs such as Rhinoceros or Solidworks is an advantage

About Zeilmakerij De Vries Maritiem: Sailmaker De Vries Maritiem, with almost 200 years of experience, is the oldest sailmaker's shop in the Netherlands. Innovation is central to us, and we use the latest techniques and materials to make the most beautiful canvas products. Our team in Lemmer consists of almost 20 employees, and we work from our workshop on the IJsselmeer, complete with its own harbor.
