"With these sails we are going around the world!

We can't wait."

"Our partners have chosen the best of the best, and we fully support that."

Yvette Oeben and Suzanne Legtenberg

Once upon a time, there was a man who wanted to sail around the world...

Such a man both Yvette and Suzanne ran into. And it was a particularly nice man! In fact, they were 2 men with a similar dream: to sail around the world. The ladies both had limited sailing experience, but still dared to go into the sea with these men. Literally and figuratively!

Steel boats with old sail wardrobe

Both men had found a beautiful steel sailboat with which a circumnavigation of the world was possible. However, the sailing wardrobe of both ships was rather outdated. Yvette's friend discovered the beautiful quality of De Vries Maritiem, and also recommended it to Suzanne. Both boats are equipped with Hydranet sails: a very strong material that is extremely suitable for world sailing. These sails retain their shape longer and have an extra good offshore finish. We advised both couples on this and will also assist them during their journey. Take a look at their Instagram, Facebook or Website:

Endless tuning...

Yes, both these men were quite demanding. Yvette and Suzanne sometimes looked at each other, shaking their heads, when new changes or small adjustments had to be made. But the end result is impressive: both ships are completely ready for a trip around the world!

Measuring on board, additional rigging required

During the measuring of the boat of Suzanne and her boyfriend it appeared that it would be better to have new Furlers on it. In order not to burden the tight budget too much, we thought along with these departures in creative solutions. We were able to buy old material at a cheaper price, and thus found a qualitative, cheaper solution.
