We took the canvas and sails off the boat and left them to dry thoroughly at the sail shop. During the thorough inspection we found out that the clew of the genoa needed to be reinforced and some stitches re-stitched. We discussed this with Pieter and repaired it. The sails and canvas are now in dry storage and Pieter will have everything in order again in the spring. The winterizing of the engine and valves was done by a specialized partner. The ship is ready for the winter, let the frost come.
