Sailmakerij De Vries Maritiem uses very durable materials for your hoods and sails. Of course a good maintenance of your products is very important. The life of your product depends on how you treat it. If the canvas has become soiled, you can clean it yourself or let us do it.

You simply bring your products to us and we will take care of the complete handling.

While cleaning, avoid using hot water, aggressive cleaning agents and solvents.

Canvas washing

Schimmel en groene aanslag kan professioneel worden gereinigd in onze sailwash. In addition, we ensure that your product is impregnated after cleaning so that it is again dirt- and water-repellent.

UV radiation

Wat veel mensen niet weten is dat UV straling het meeste schade kan toebrengen aan buiskappen. Het stikgaren en het doek van een zeil is onderhevig aan UV-straling. Het spreekt daarom voor zich dat het doek UV bestendig moet zijn. Voor uw buiskap biedt GORE™ TENARA® naaigaren uitkomst.
