At Zeilmakerij De Vries Maritiem we work daily on beautiful canvas products: tubular hoods, cockpit tents, tarpaulins all made to measure and with care. Many people do not know exactly what our profession entails, and we understand that. That's why we say: feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee and a peek behind the scenes. Whether you're an experienced craftsman, just starting out, or just curious about what we do, you're welcome!

For those who love precision and craft
Do you have experience behind the sewing machine and a passion for craftsmanship? As a Canvas Seamstress, you will work with us on unique tailor-made products such as tube covers and tarpaulins. No assembly line work, but real craftsmanship with room for your skills. You will work in a friendly team on a variety of projects where your efforts will make a visible difference.

Are you a craftsman or craftswoman in hairdressing? Then you will feel right at home with us. You will work on high-quality custom products, use the latest techniques and be involved in the entire process: from measuring to delivery. Share your knowledge with colleagues, contribute ideas and grow further in a company where craftsmanship and innovation come together.

Learn the trade from the best
Do you want to learn a real trade? As a junior Canvas Sailmaker you will learn everything with us: from cutting and stitching to measuring and assembly. You work from day one and grow quickly under the guidance of experienced colleagues. In no time you will be making your first canopy and believe us: that is a great feeling.

💻 3D Designer
Technology & design come together
Are you a technical draughtsman with an eye for form and function? In this role you will design canvas products such as tube covers,winter covers and steering covers in 3D. You translate ideas into digital cutting files that our sailmakers get to work with. You will work in a creative and close team on products you can be rightly proud of.
📍 Come and meet us in Lemmer
An application is allowed, but not required. We find it at least as much fun to just get acquainted.
