Become canvas sailmaker
The work as a junior canvas sailmaker
Can't wait to deliver your first tube hood? Great! We are looking forward to teaching you all the tricks of the trade so that you will be an independent sailmaker in no time. From day 1 you will be involved in the production of new canvas products. You will learn to measure, cut, assemble and within a few weeks you will have mastered the most important skills.

About sailmaker De Vries Maritiem
Sailmaker De Vries Maritiem exists for almost 200 years and is the oldest sailmaker in the Netherlands. But old certainly does not mean dusty! We use the latest techniques and materials to ensure maximum enjoyment for water sports enthusiasts. By developing new methods and techniques, we innovate continuously. Our employees are given the opportunity for personal growth in depth or breadth.
Our head office and workshop in Lemmer is located on the IJsselmeer, and has a beautiful private harbor. We produce sails and tents at this location. Our team is cozy and close, and consists of almost 20 employees.
