called us. He had a problem so he told us. Due to circumstances he can't go to his boat to rig it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Winterizing <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He asked us if we could make his boat winter-ready. Yes, we have a total service: from removing sails and canvas to washing, repairs and maintenance. We can also prepare the engine and valves for the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default\"><p>\" By using the winter service of sailmaker De Vries Maritime, I have no worries about my boat this winter. \"<\/p><cite>Pieter de Boer<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No worries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We took the canvas and sails off the boat and left them to dry thoroughly at the sail shop. During the thorough inspection we found out that the clew of the genoa needed to be reinforced and some stitches re-stitched. We discussed this with Pieter and repaired it. The sails and canvas are now in dry storage and Pieter will have everything in order again in the spring. The winterizing of the engine and valves was done by a specialized partner.
