and new zippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estimate costs via whatsapp<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matthijs called us to ask if we could repair the zippers in his spray hood, or if that would mean end of story for the spray hood. We asked Matthijs to send us some pictures via Whatsapp. That way we could determine within an hour whether repair was possible, and how much it would cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we reviewed the photos, we saw that the windows of the spray hood were also very tarnished. In consultation with Matthijs we made an estimate of the cost of replacing the windows. When Matthijs saw our estimate he was positively surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In addition to zippers, also replace windows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\"I only came for new zippers, but ended up with a spray hood that really can last for years again! Those new windows make such a big difference. I didn't know they were in such bad shape.\" <\/p><cite>Matthijs Jansen<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cause: lots of salt water<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The zippers were severely corroded by frequent sailing on salt water. The windows were also in poor condition because of this. Of course, the age of the material also plays a major role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is the best way to protect your spray hood?
